Hi experts,
I'm having some trouble getting Light and Control commands being detected from masterlink products by the Beolink Gateway. Running the very latest firmware but this problem has existed for a couple of previous versions.
From network link products, light and control commands are detected and processed correctly on the gateway, but masterlink commands are simply not detected let alone processed.
From the service menu of the BV10 and the BS5 I have enabled both send status to the BLGW and send light commands to the BLGW, restarted both products but the gateway still refuses to detect the commands.
From the Beolink2 app I can control the BS5 without a problem (except the N.Music interface doesn't work on the app - reported to B&O). The BV10 doesn't respond the any commands at all which leads me to think this has a problem of some sort which is causing a conflict on the ML.
Any suggestions would be very welcome.
Thanks Steven
hi steven!
the beovision is build 165 and the powersaving of the bv10 is set to off? (standby settings)
BS Ouverture, BS 9000, AV 9000, Avant 32 DVD, BV9, BV6-22, BS 5, BS 4500, BS 7000, BC 9500, Beo6, BL Penta, F1000, BLGW, etc....
Please do report this issue to BeoCare. This has been a recent problem lately and the developers need to know that it's affecting multiple users.
Hi Both, sorry for late reply was away for Christmas and New Year. Thanks for the suggestions, I have doubled checked that the BV10 has latest software, power saving is turned off and send status and commands to the BLGW are enabled but the BLGW cannot detect the BV10.
I have reported it to B&O. It seems to be an issue with the latest version of the software because previously the TV did work and no new products have been added to the ML except for the BLC. Funny thing is the ML actually works fine for everything else when makes me sure that its a problem with the BLGW.
Anyone else have issues with the N Music interface on BeoLInk2 app? Appears as a normal CD rather then N Music interface. Works fine on the Beolink 1 app.
thanks again
steven
No problem with LIGHT commands in my setup with BV7/40 as master, BS5, BV10/32, BV6(no LIGHT/CONTROL functionality), BL2000 (no LIGHT/CONTROL functionality), 2x BL active, BL3500. Everything works fine. BLGW sw 1.5.3.230.
N.MUSIC browser for BS5 works via Beolink app, but doesn`t work in Beolink2 app here too. Thanks for reporting this to Beo.
I`d try to capture Beolink products in the resource menu once more - they should be captured by serial number, I think.

Hi, I have been in contact with those (IKATU) who develop software for both BLGW and the Beolink APP 1 and 2 (Ikatu e-mai: 'restuccia@ikatu.com').
I had the same problems after the latest softwareupdate with the BLGW. I got very fast a new software that I manually downloaded that fixed the problem with no responding ML-gear.
The second problem You have with Beolink APP2, I have also this problem. The softwaredeveloper have fixed this problem in a BETA-version that I got (N.MUSIC works again). But they have done something with the music-browsing so every album will show up many times. So the BETA-version is not finished yet at all. But the BLGW works perfect with this new corrected software. Just ask for it and you will get it.
Best RegardsMartin
