I'm putting together a modest 5.1 setup for a medium sized room (4m x 5m).
I would appreciate any comments on my suggested pairing up 8002's for the fronts along with BL 3's for the rears and finally BL 2 for bass duties.
A larger budget would obviously do better however - are these potentially a good sounding match or am I missing something..?
Duties will be 80% films and 20% music (when the BS 9000 comes along later).
Centre task will be from the TV @ 120w.
Thanks in advance.
John
p.s. ..any crazy folks tried BL 3's front and rear?
Loewe Bild 7.55 - Beolab 8000 (Mk2) - Beolab 3 - Almando Multiplay - Oppo 4K Ultra HD UDP-203.
Four proposed combination of speakers will do a very nice job in my opinion. For movies I believe adding the BL2 is important; since this will provide you with the needed punch on the low end and keep these frequencies away from the BL8002 (which makes their sound better as well).
My main question/concern would be the center speaker from the tv. for movies, this speaker is crucial and I do not know how the Loewe performance is compared to the B&O speakers.
@Bieele
Thank you for your reply. IF the centre speaker turns out not to be up to the task I can easily change the display settings/ set it to 'hide' and look at a more suitable B&O replacement.
Currently the existing speaker is all I have and to my ears is an excellent performer.
