airplay not working with beoplay A9 and beosound 1 since upgrade to OS high sierra

hi everyone

i have been successfully using airplay to play apple music content from my Macbook Pro to linked a9 and B1 speakers until upgrade to macOS high sierra and now the connection is hopeless, playing loudly for a few seconds, then silence, skipping tracks and so on.

has anyone else encountered this problem, or have any advice?
