BM900 vs BS35 vs BL5

Hi and Happy New Year

For New Year's Eve, I wanted some background music (FM radio).

3 possibilities were available: Beomaster 900M (FM), Beosound 35 (TuneIn) and Chromecast+Beolabs 5 (TuneIn).

And guess what...

I only used the BM900M !

Of course, the sound of the BL5s is more (put everything you want here), but it wasn't... appropriate.

The warmth of the wood, the warmth of the display and the warmth of the sound were in harmony with the atmosphere of this event

 

No wonder. It has a nice presence and a pleasant sound.
And it just works.
My guess is, that it has been working for 50 years with only a minimum of attention and will continue doing so for as long as you want.
Hey., what? - No software upgrades needed to keep it going? - well, how about that!!

Just as much of a conversation piece, anyways.

I couldn’t agree more. You might want to add a Beogram 1000 and a few Sinatra records, or, dare I say, some soft jazz to the picture.
