Hi Alls,

Following my question in this thread (and thank you to all of you who tried to help me…)

Beolab 4000 Table Stand Alternative… -

I decided to find a solution by myself. It ended in a little DIY project I wanted to share in case it may help anyone. So here we go.

It start with a simple Ikea item:

Remove the top border just under the littles pieces who look like cat ears.

Use a blade. The plastic can be cut pretty easily!

I made a guide with a 13° tilted square box with a front border matching the height of the band under the Ouverture.

I printed it on a sticker paper and sticked it on a piece of cardboard. I used it to mark the Trofast:

And then cut it:

After that i cut the top border as an arc matching the back of the BL 4000.

Stability is good but could be enhanced with some additional work.

1,50€ + 30 min work each.

Hope this help…

you know,.... if you laid the stand on a table covered with a silicone sheet, and poured acrylic into what you effectively made as a mold, and put the BL4000 on top (covered in cling film of course), you'd end up with clear solid stands. Don't forget to spray the inside of the mold with silicone spray too though, so that it comes off when cured.

**Forgot to mention, after that, you could easily drill holes for cabling.
