i have a very serious problem with my Avant 55 2015. Since getting the Apple Tv 4K 4 months ago i regularly have no voice sound while still maintaing all other surround sound.
Today i was shocked (and so was the salesman) to find this issue occur on a brand new Eclipse at the B&O showroom. I was about to put a deposit on one which is now on hold.
I hope you have heard of this problem and know a solution.

Im using a high end HDMI cable that B&O recommended for 4K. What port are you using for ATV? i thought we need to use Port 1.
But the issue is that this also happened on an Eclipse in the B&O store today while i was there. that is why im worried.

It does have to do with B&O app becuase ive seen it occur on both the Avant and Eclipse.
Im worried that there is a major software issue in both these TV's related to the 4K

I would like to suggest the addition of a "restart" under the production configuration in order to do a power cycle of products. This is particularly an issue with the BeoSound 1. It often loses the bluetooth connection with the Essence remote and requires a restart. However, since the BeoSound 1 has a battery, it's not as simple as just unplugging and reinserting the power cord. One must lift up the BeoSound 1 and try to see which physical button is the restart -- which is not easy to see.

Ok, so here is my latest bug report :- Essence remote becomes again unstable on an Essence MKII under 1.15.17881 firmware, I have to delete it and reboot the Essence to be able to pair it again.- Radio is becoming unusable : some radios like french RFM station are just unavailable (it jumps from it to the next one when trying to select it), while it's completely available on the TuneIn app. Strange behavior. Add to this that from time to time by just clicking left or right on the Essence remote, the station jumps to a completely different list of radio stations (going to "local stations" from "favorites" for instance seems to be the usual behavior).I'm quite fed up trying to just use normally the products I paid for... I was hoping that the good feedback from the dev team will solve the basic issue soon and add some usability, but we're seeing less and less updates, less and less new features recently... It seems that the dev team is as frustrated as us...I hope to get my stuff working correctly soon, wishing all the best to the dev team, but I fear that B&O is just losing ground more and more in this technological battle.diisign.com

Sorry for the long delay. I see your point with Deezer HiFi, we have investigated fast account switching before Deezer family was there. It was hard to make it smooth without changing the way the product works as well, and those changes come slow. My personal Deezer account is also currently "poluted" with my youngest son (7) questionable taste in music ;)

Regarding your 4K issue and Apple TV. This is out of my area I suggest you contact your dealer or beocare.

I can see why this would be convenient. I would, however, much prefer to fix the issues your are experiencing so you would not have to restart. Please either contact beocare directly or use the support function in the app. Select the BS1, select the category and describe the problem. Then this should end up with the product team.

Better TV support is coming, but has just been postponed a bit. As for the NL/ML converter, it is such a complicated product and we vastly underestimated the development of this feature. We have 3-4 enhancements on our backlog for it.
Latest bug report from here :
- Still not possible to hear RFM radio on the Beoplay APP, even if it never failed to play on the TuneIn app.
- Radio station changes without touching anything, from time to time. Very irritating but completely random.
- Some times recently (since 1.5.0) it was impossible to shut down products with the "all standby" button on the top left corner, nothing happened.

Sorry in advance, but I have had to work all Sunday and it's getting extremely late but I took a brake.
I don't really have the mentality of some people which is surely my weakness. There have been 25 updates to the app in 10 months. My Beomusic app worked but I was a fool to upgrade and I lost it. The net result for my flat is loss of Spotify, even when I had to leave the app to use it. I bought these products featuring Spotify Connect and that appears to be gone. So what I have on my Iphone is a nice picture of an Essence in 3 different rooms, but why care if I have to rebuild it MOST TIMES I ENGAGE IT?
It is very nice to have direct contact with B&O featured managers, but when the net result is an app that has never really worked according to a vision, why is everyone so excited, much less happy? I surely am not.
Maybe B&O wants the new products to die fast so I can buy a new tech or color? I cannot afford to throw away my Essence 1 versions, so I am bound. My wife is right now listening to tune in radio on 20+ year old MX4200 tv and BL3000 speakers with Roku and it just works. No drama.
Nice addition (it was available since beta 1.6.0).
now it would be wonderful if we could choose the visual appearing for NL/ML : on the homepage it’s a photo of the converter (not really fun : a rectangle of brushed aluminum), and on the product page it’s a symbol of the connected stuff as setup in the converter configuration menu (a beovision 8-40 for me)
For me the app feels more or less complete. It cover all my use cases. I use my NAS content more and more seldom, now when I have flac from Deezer. I would say all my NAS content is available in the Deezer catalogue.
More Beovision interaction would of course be nice, but BeoRemote app still works so that is no real problem.

‘More BeoVision interaction’ - that is mandatory to me!
After all my tv/tv’s (with the connected speaker, of course) are my main devices.......also for music.
Still some work to do for the team ;-)

Those events are from the product. It seems that the network connection is unstable and periodically is down.
