BeoRemote One BT and BeoPlay A6?

Hi all,

Just a quick question: does the BeoRemote One BT work with the BeoPlay A6? I can find info on the Essence Remote working with some BeoPlay (looks like it works with A9, A6, M5, and M3) products but I can't find anything about the One BT.

Sorry if this has already been asked, I've had a look and can't find anything (either on Forum searches or Google) but I might have missed something.

Right I’ve bought one anyway - if it doesn’t work I’ll either send it back (got it from Peter Tyson’s website so should be fine) or sell it on.

I’ve also emailed PT’s support/sales asking if they know the answer so we’ll see. Will update here once I know more either way, as I’m sure others would like to know the answer to this.

Just had a reply from PT - BeoRemote One BT sadly isn’t compatible with the A6. Looks like it’s just the Essence remote that works (which is a fair bit cheaper anyway!).

Correct. I raised a similar question to B&O a while ago. They confirmed it is not possible. I find this a pity since it is not in line with the ‘one remote’ philosophy!

Yeah that's what I was thinking! Oh well, have an Essence remote on its way instead now.
