Good day,

One of my cd players started to make some noises and stops playing. Turns out the cd is scraping against the transport tray. There are 4 torx adjustment screws, but backing them up just loosens them. Because the rubber spring elements have had their best time.

With a slight pressure on the tray the cd rurns fine and plays well as it stops rubbing.

I have done a search on the web, but nobody seems to offer these rubber bushings. What do you guys do, add some shims? I have the player upside down for a few days to see if the rubber is able to relax a bit, but I am not optimistic that that will do the trick.

Thanks in advance for your advice

Many thanks. That is exactly what I need!

Apparently I still need to learn a lot of how to search this site, as I did not see it. I have sent him an e-mail to add me to the "want to have" list.

Greetings

It’s not always the easiest to find things like this. I only knew of it from memory and scrolled through pages of for sale items until I found it.

But I’m not very computer friendly.
