Hello everybody,

I am the proud owner of 2 MX7000 tv's and a DVD 1 which are in daily use for watching tv and dvd's.

Recently my DVD player started showing 'disc error' randomly. Both with used and brand new dvd's. Sometimes at the end of a disc or just somewhere in the middle.

What could be the cause (dust, lint etc.) and what would the best way the fix it.

UPDATE Jan 28, 2017

Through browsing the web, I found several possible problems all off which I've verified.

Cleaning the laser, adjusting a small part on a circuitboard and improving the ventilation possibilities of the DVD player.

I am pleased to let you all know that the player works like new.
