Søren Mexico:

The experts advise is, for sound, go radialBig Smile

I have my BG 2404 in sight as writing this, can it be more beautiful, oh yes my BG 1202,( waiting for the SP14 from Axel), together with my BM 901.

Got mine very own BG 1202 coming soon whop whop !(pictures will follow soon)

Don't think it'll be better than mine BC3500 though but it's a "gift" for work on other BC3500 Wink

b

And mine S3702 are now finished and hang on the wall above my BC3500 - I'm in heaven right now Whistle

Don't worry - be Happy

Interesting to notice that the beogram 8002 seems to be the most sophisticated deck but never caught much attention; introduced in the CD-era, and incredibly ugly compared to its famous and beautiful elderly sister, the 4000.

The 8000/2 was an incredible deck let down by poor materials. The 8002 was however recommended by Hi-Fi Choice in 1983 ' Auditioned complete with cartridge, the 8002 attained a substantially good standard even by comparison with audiophile exotica using costly moving coil cartridges. First impressions were of a confident and firm presentation with good timing and pitch, plus a tuneful articulate bass.'

Didn't know 'hifi choice' magazine; but looking at their website now there is not a single review with the name B&O in it (not even in the loudspeaker topic)... Looks like they neglect the Struer-company completely.

No big wonder - B&O is usually omitted in all of the mags. I suppose this is because they just don't fit the business model. B&O doesn't do that much magazine advertizing, and the entire concept is against what the hifi anoraks thrive on. For example, you can't sell expensive cables to a typical B&O owner, and they won't usually be on the look for pieces of kit from any other manufacturers.

And as long as we are talking about turntables, it doesn't help that B&O hasn't made any for almost two decades now Big Smile
