Hello,
right I have undertaken to breathe life back into some old Beograms and I am finding it a challenge.
So there may be a few of these posts.... what I shall do though is take it one step at a time rather than flood the forum.
Todays pressing concern is the Beogram 3000 I have. It is an older type (looks like 1202).
I cannot for the life of me find the manual on-line for it..... can find the manual for the newer type and the service manual for my type.... but not the Owners Manual.
This is important as I cannot, for the life of me, work out the controls.
I can get how to get it going..... I can get how to change the disc size (btw that is slightly out, if it is on 30cm it starts slightly into the record.... is that an easy adjustment).... what I cannot do is find out how to tell the deck that I am playing a 33 NOT a 45.
Shouting at it does not seem to help.... although voice control does seem to be the only option as there is no discernable switch.
If anyone can help with explanation or, indeed, a .pdf I would be most grateful.
Many thanks.
Welcome to BeoWorld!
Sounds like you are able to rotate the selector through the 17-25-30 positions.
17 being 45, and 25-30 being 33, the arm should drop correctly relative to the size selected.
Does that change? Does the speed change?
If so, there is a sawtooth adjuster on the right side below the trim. It is a fine speed adjuster.
If no, let us know!
We don't have the Beogram 3000 manual but we do have the Beocenter 3500 which is a Beomaster 3000 with a Beogram 3000 perched on top! You will find it useful!
