Dear friends,
I had a look at the Beovision Horizon TV. I love the design and the specifications seem alright. I do have a few questions which I was hoping you could help me with:
1. I would like to connect the TV to my non-B&O HiFi-system, preferably via a digital connection. I currently connect my Sony TV via its optical output (toslink) directly to my D/A converter. The Horizon does not appear to have any digital outputs - or analog for that matter. Is there a way around this?
2. As far as I understand, the Horizon was released mid-2016. I'm not familiar with the typical B&O product cycle. Do you reckon this model is due to be replaced soon? In general, is the TV still relevant in terms of specifications or it is outdated by now?
Thanks you!

Hi!
You could use the powerlink output to connect with your stereo. The volume would be controlled by the TV and I don’t know if you can change it to a fixed output.
Dont know now if it will be replaced. Usually B&O products have longer lifespan than other brands.
Unfortunately this is a very short answer. I am currently looking to connect my BV Horizon to my stereo. For all other devices in the world you have only to connect a cinch cable for 5 Euro and it will work immediately. For the BV I bought a 25 Euro RJ45 cable to cinch. Result: After one our "click on the red button" in the help menue, audio set up, speaker group configuration I only hear a white noise from one speaker. :-(
So, any help? Is there an easy description to connect non B&O Hifi equipment to the BV world?
