Hi everyone. I need help with playing 45 RPM LP's on BeoGram 3400.

I am trying to understand if I can change the playback speed while playing the record.

I have BeoGram 1700 and Beogram 3300 where I press 33 to start paying 45 RPM LP and then press 45 to increase the speed to 45 RPM

But with this player, if I press 33/STOP it starts from the beginning and then by pressing 45/PAUSE it pauses, then by pressing 45 again it goes to the middle and is playing record from there at 45 RPM.

Please help if there is a way around without touching the tonearm

You will have to start on 45, then catch the tonearm at the 7" lowering point and carefully
bring it to the lead in of the 12".

We must not forget, that though many maxi-singles of the 80s are exactly like that, 12" 45RPM were never a
standard format. Probably why most US-maxi'es are 12" 33RPM.
That was actually one place where the americans clinged to standards. It went wrong when they fitted RCA plugs to the
output of the turntables... Geeked
