getting sound from mx 8000 over beosound cd player?

In the manual its mentioned i can with a particular model get sound over to the pair of active speakers if i have one of those beosound cd players, is it some certain models or how does it work? if i ever get one of them, what should i do and how?

Sorry, do you mean ‘a BeoSound with a built-in cd-player’?

Like the BeoSound 3000?

It is in that model range im thinking off, i read in the owners manual if you had a beosound, it was possible to play the audio over it.

I guess, that you probably mean, that you can play the sound from the tv/the MX8000 over the speakers, 

that are connected to the BeoSound.

Am I right?

If so, it is correct, if both systems have a MasterLink module and the are connected with a ML cable.

Please give me some more information on the BeoSound and the tv.
