I bought (another) Beosound 3000 off Ebay in, and i didn´t believe it when i unpacked it, absoultely mint condition. Factory new. No scratches or anything.
The only problem is, that the doors make quite a noise when opening or closing. I can´t figure out, wether it´s the motors or something´s grinding.
Is this a common issue ? Haven´t been able to find any posts about this here
Here is a vimeo link to a video with the sound, since the embedding function on this site doesnt work

i would try cleaning the rails with alcohol ans a Q-tip, then lubricating them with silicon grease.
Also i would inspect the rails for any apparent scratches or something.
