FYI My point is a Beosystem that does the full surround sound and have 4K and HDR passthrough via HDMI. I don’t need B&O doing video processing in the Beosystem as my sources already do it (Oppo being one) but we do full passthrough of HDR etc and whilst it sounds like it’s a no brainer it’s actually not. To this day last year Sony OLED can’t accept HDR signal via HDMI - only via USB.

Hiort:

I would not be surprised if B&O stopped developing new Beovisions. Surely, if they launch a "soundbar", as some in this thread indicate, I cannot see how they could justify also developing new Beovisions. I think the amount of people that would pay the premium of having "all in one package" for a product in a technology market that move so fast are not that many. That is the main problem for Beovisions as I see it.

I hope I´m wrong though.

Much as I wish to disagree, I think you are probably right. Who knows what has happened to B&O in recent years but the designs, quality of products and customer service we were used to are now very obviously a thing of the past. With televisions particularly, I (personally) now prefer the designs of more mainstream brands such as LG (their wallpaper design for example and pretty much all other base OLED models), Sony (with the A1 model's subtle minimalist design and clever audio processing) and I would choose all of them over B&O's offerings, regardless of price. That says it all really. Perhaps it's not B&O's fault; maybe there's just nowhere else to go these days and everyone else has caught up but you won't see me paying a premium price for a non-premium product, that's just not my style. I want innovative products that stand out and stand the test of time. That used to be B&O but no longer.

B&O products are V1-32, BS2, H95, E8 and an Essence remote.
11-46 now replaced with Sony A90J 65”, Sony HT-A9, Sony UBP-X800M2 and Sony SRS-NS7.
