Hi there,

I would like to know if it is possible to link the BeoSound 9000 to BeoSound 2 so when a Cd is played it will play on my Beolab 8000s as well as BeoSound 2.

I don’t mind if I need a wired connection.

Thanks for your help.

You need a NL/ml converter to have the sleekest solution.

Or you can connect to line in on BS2.

Hi BAB1,

Welcome to Beoworld!  Yes, if both devices are in the same room then a simple cable is all you need from a spare Powerlink output of the 9000 to the Line input of the Beosound 2:-

If you need any further help, please let us know the layout of the equipment within your home and we can help you to find the best option for your needs.

Kind regards, Steve.

Hi there Steve thanks for your message.

Does this mean it will play from my existing speakers as well as the BeoSound 2?

Actually the plan is to put the Beosund 2 in another room.

If I do this can I turn off the sound on the beosund from the remote control ?

thanks for your help.

best regards

Hi BAB1,

If the Beosound 2 is in a different room, the best option is to use the Aux socket instead (please let me know if you order this cable and you wish to use the Aux socket, so that I can re-wire this for you).  this will allow the Beosound 2 and the existing speakers to be used with separate volume control.

Please note that this simple cable connections won't give you remote control of the 9000 from the Beosound 2.

Kind regards, Steve.
