Hi, beo experts. I’ve just have a powerlink to 3.5mm cable for my beolab 7.1. When I plug the usb trigger on, the led indicator on Beolab 7.1 turns from red to green. But unfortunately there is no sound comes out from the speaker. I’ve tried different sources like hi-res player, pc, iPhone and so on.
Do you guys thing the problem is on the speaker or the cable?
Thank you all. Sorry to post this separately from the beoport question of another thread.
Im no expert, but there is a common approach that could lead to some usefull next steps.
#1 Beolab runs with normal use of powerlink?
#2 Cable is not broken or wrong wired? (Maybe trigger ok, but signal pins wrong...)
I need more Beolabs!
Thank you.
The beolab 7.1 use to be working well back in US. After that it has been shipped to Asia as we moved, but haven’t power on for months. I’ve just done the modification on voltage change from 110v to 230v.
At the moment, I do not have any b&o equipment on hand, except a beolink pc2. I’ve try to connect the beolab 7.1 via 8pin powerlink cable. Unfortunately I can’t make it sound by beoport. I’ve tried all options in config, nothing changed.
The powerlink to 3.5mm cable have been tested with flying wire to a dedicated speaker. The wiring is following Peter pan’s diagram, but pin 2 and 7 not yet cross connected.
