My BeoVision 11-46 drops the HDMI signal intermittently for 2 to 3 seconds (ie. sound and picture disappears) then resumes as before. This happens 2 to 5 times over 3 hours viewing period. The TV operates normally the rest of the time and all the time when taking a signal from an aerial connection. I have connected the HDMI cable to another TV (Samsung) and it works perfectly – so the problem is at the B&O TV and not in the cabling etc.. I have tried HDMI sockets 1,2,5 and 6 with the same result. The TV says the software is up-to-date.
My video signals (SKY, DVD, Apple TV) come into a Ubiquiti Networks switch and an HDanywhere control box (everything is controlled by Control4) and then by HDMI cable to the B&O TV.
Any suggestions?
I would still get a new HDMI cable. It´s a bit strange that its the same problem with all the HDMI sockets.
