hi all - I'm trying to plan a NL ML system with my local deal (with a Moment / Horizon) that connects to my ML system already running throughout my house (into 8 rooms) but there doesn't seem to be anyway of controlling / playing vinly lps via the Moment
any thoughts / advice gratefully received!
Playing is not a problem - just use the line-in connection on the Moment (the vinyl-BeoGram needs to have a proper pre-amp for that).
You can’t however control it - but there is not much to remote control anyway.

Welcome to Beoworld! As MM mentioned, playing a Beogram into the Moment isn't a problem. There may also be extra options for playing and controlling the Beogram on your Masterlink system, depending on the products that you have connected in each room.
Would you be able to let us know which B&O products you have on a room-by-room basis and which room you want to locate the Beogram in please?
We can then see if there may be a better way to get this working for you.

thanks - I thought that a beogram 9500 (the turntable I have) has to be connected to a beocenter in order to work - can it be used on its own with a Moment?
Hi,
You can use the Beogram without the Beocenter, you will lose the remote control functionality though (ie. you will need to use the buttons on the top panel of the Beogram to start a record playing).
As the Moment doesn't have a pre-amp, you will need an external phono pre-amp to connect this Beogram, such as this one which comes with all cables needed and full instructions, ready to “plug and play”:-
