Hi Guys,

I'm still very worried that a 40" TV is going to upset me in my beautiful apartment. I've just watched the B&O BV10 video of the lady architect - she has one on the stand and oh my gosh, it really seems to overpower her room - I really didn't think it was a good look. I'm not having that. Does anyone know if a 32" is planned for the BV11? or are small screen fans like myself a minority these days?

Hi Paul

As far as i am told there is no plan to introduce a 32" BV11 at this point in time unfortunatly. The 32" BV 10 is the only one that is not being discontinued.  So if you like me would still like a smaller tv for your bedroom, kitchen etc. you really only have 2 options. V1 og BV 10-32. As my entire appartment is masterlinked, i have to go invest in a BV10-32.

Hi Ehlerz,

Thank you for your post :)  Yes I love the BV10/11 because it is art and that's what i'd like - I want it to blend it with the art and book shelves in my room. What I don't want is the TV to be a focal point in the room as that's not what i'm about. Whilst I like the V1, I wouldn't buy because it's the BV10/11 design that has blown me away... as I pointed out, that B&O video has just worried me as it seems to stick out like sore thumb in that lady architects living room - i think for me it would get in the way.

Overpowers the room? Really? I guess it depends on the room. In my kitchen, I went from a 26" to a 23" BC6 as I didn't want the TV to dominate the space. However, in my dedicated TV room, the TV could be as large as I like - a 55" definitely wouldn't overpower as it's the reason for the room.

Personally, I'm not keen on the small BV10/BV11. Looks wrong. The BV10 32" looks like a toy TV in my dealers showroom. The frame and design suits a larger TV.

Today 32" is for many users the size for a TV in the kitchen / bathroom / guestroom/...

The reduced size of the BV 11 frame is a tradeoff - a slim framing is looking  good,
but a wide "passe-partout" increases the viewing comfort.

Thank god the BV10 is not discontinued at the moment - it is the only "small" TV
that can  be used in an existing ML setup as a Link TV in ALL  video options.
