I'm thinking about moving away from CD's to the world of streaming.
My current setup is Beosound 9000 to which Beolab 8000 is connected. Beomaster 7000 with Beogram 7000 is connected and played thru Beosound 9000. Next to that stays not connected to anything Beovision 11.
My plan is to buy Beosound moment and connect it somehow to my current setup so I can use speakers with 9000/7000 & Moment.
Would anyone be able to advice how to link it together?
thx M
Connect BeoLab to Moment and BeoLink Converter NL/ML to BeoSound 9000.
Connect a Chromecast audio to your Besound 9000 and keep your setup as it is. Then use a ipad to control the music.
You never know when B&O stops supporting the streaming software that you get with the unit you buy.
"You think we can slap some oak on this thing?"

SOunds like an option but I'd like to stay within B&O solution.
With streaming I meant streaming from local server not Dezeer/ Spotify etc.
Interesting - how's connected Converter & 9000 ? I'm asking as I need to have also Beomaster 7000 hooked to 9000 to be able to play vinyls
Hi Marek,
For simplicity (and to keep the 7000 working without needing major re-wiring), I would suggest keeping the speakers connected to the Beosound 9000 as at present. You can then link either a Moment or a Chromecast Audio to the Aux socket of the 9000 as outlined below:-
Moment cable: https://soundsheavenly.com/bang-olufsen/rj45-powerlink-compatible-to-twin-phono-cable-output-from-new-bo-devices-to-amps-receivers-etc
Chromecast Audio cable: https://soundsheavenly.com/bang-olufsen/minijack-to-aux-in-ipod-to-beosound-beomaster-beocenter-using-aux-din-socket
Please set the Moment/CCA volume to maximum when connecting to the B&O system – this is normal when using a wireless music player with a home audio system due to the low output levels produced by the these devices.
To listen to the Moment or CCA, simply press "A.Aux" on the B&O keypad, or select this on the B&O remote control by pressing the "LIST" button until the display shows "A.AUX", then pressing "GO".
Kind regards, Steve.

Hi Steve,
if I keep 8000 speakers connected to 9000 wouldn’t it be problem that Aux on 9000 is already occupied by cable connecting Beo7000 (with cable I bought from you - as many other cables haha) ?
thx
m
No problem! You can use an Aux Splitter to share the Aux socket between the Beogram 7000 and the new music streamer without affecting the speaker connections:-

Perfect !
That’s what I was looking for - thank you
Hallo Marek, can u or Anybody else please write step by step how to connected those devices cause I have precisely the same set of it and I like to put them together and use with one remote (is that possible ?) I will very thankful I just bought bs9000 mk3 but is laying and waiting to plug in:(
beomaster 7000 + Beogram 7000 , tape1 I’m using for tv (non B&O)aux for Bluetooth, and now I’d like to set the bs9000 together to get the cd integrated, what cable I’m going to need and adapter, important part using those devices in one beo4 remote
