Help with shipping to Hong Kong

Hi everyone,

Only thing B&O related here is that I am shipping a B&O product. But I need some help.

I am shipping a box from Finland to Hong Kong.

Package is 170cm x 30 cm x 30cm, weight is 20 kg.

How on earth can I ship it for a reasonable price. I get quotes on 600 euros!!!

Would that by any chance be a BL7-6 ?

If it's any consolation, I see fast-track shipping invoices from Finland to Denmark @ 700 euros almost every day for small packages.

Why not just buy a plane ticket and go see Hong Kong,- sort of for free.

It might be a BL7-6. Might be me in a coffin with those prices.

We use interparcel.com and they broker the delivery service. Just checked their online pricing from Finland to HK, UPS express is £209 or FX £185

Thank you for this. Posti, the national post service in finland, charges 190 euro. I will ship it with them.

I guess the buyer will have to collect from a local post office there, but I think this is ok.

 

What I read is that small packages can "disappear" in hong kong, but this sized package you cant just slip under your shirt as a postman.
