Personally I'd rather use a Beo4 to control my iPhone! Smile

BeoLink software App from B&O is free - and while it may not look as pretty I would rather spend 150 Euro đź’¶ on something else !

But isn’t the Beolink App only for newer products (aka since the BV11 via WLNA) ?

That little black box sends an IR signal so your phone really behaves like a Beo4 for any products (pre WLNA).

That’s what I understand.

100% right BeoGreg it's for all old products (Wifi to IR)

If you could program that thing/the box to send codes to a 3rd party device connected to the B&O gear, (e.g a DAB+ radio) along with the B&O codes/send macros in order to open the port and control the device, it would be worth concidering.

Worked fine on my BV8 tonight ... only a slight glitch in driving scrolled channel changed on the Foxtel (Sky+ equivalent)

There was a BLC NL/ML lurking somewhere in the network ... but how it all works I have no idea !

Isn't it ironic? (Alanis Morissette)

A long time ago there was a company smart enough to build a phone capable of controlling a wide range of iconic range of their own AV products.

Not so long ago another company copied the user interface into a music player and made a name for themselves!

Today the first company is completely pawned and "operated" by a phone from the second company.

Isn't THAT ironic?

We still have that phone from the pioneering company ... I bought it long ago as a gift for SWMBO and later a BeoTalk :)

However it does NOT get daily use anymore !!!

Instead SWMBO uses the second company’s mobile device Surprise
