Hi Guys,
Got a Beolab 7.1 with damage on top, Deep scratches on the left side, has anyone repaired such damage? (this is for the experts)
Would like to post a photo but cant see how.
Thanks Ken
Fill them with silicone, sand down the silicone, then spray with plastidip.
"You think we can slap some oak on this thing?"
Is pastidip a product, who makes it ?
Thaks Ken
Found it on the Internet , any tips when applying?
Clean surface. Let layers dry between. Plastidip is very forgiving :)
Thanks for the help
Ken
Do I have to get special Silicon from the DIY store?
What grade of sandpaper?
How do I prep for spraying,?
Do I only spray the efected area or do i have to spray the whole speaker?
Is there a special coulor og Plastdip you use?
Can you give step by step instructions, as I am keen to get started, but afraid of ruining the speaker.
best wishes, Ken
Any other expers that have done this ?
