Samsung BD-C7500 not reading discs (dvd)

My Samsung BD-C7500 stopped reading dvd-discs. I have no BR discs so i can't tell if they would work.

so far done:

- taken the BR player off my BV10 and put on ground i.e. it's standing in normal position now

- factory reset on BR player

Both had no result.

what can i do (myself) before going back to my B&O dealer?

Sorry to hear of your problem. This is a known fault, the mechs haven't been very reliable. In fact I think Samsung should have issued a recall. If it still under the manufactures warranty (not B&O), Samsung will repair the unit. I had a similar issue with the BDD 7500 the other day, i was a bit surprised it lasted 10 months. I would swap it out for the new Pana or a PS3!
