Beovision Horizon and Avant NG Updates

Hi All,

In the coming weeks an update for these Android Platforms should be coming thru. Note the following short summary that I have experienced on a Horizon.

1. Freeview / Catch UpTV stable, including casting apart from 7 Plus in Australia (which does cast though) 
2. Spotify works as both an installed app and casting
3. Deezer Mobile App works (blue/grey background), as does casting
4. STAN App, installed and works
5. NetFix - does not install as an app and does not cast. This I believe is not B&O's fault.
6. Casting, in general is pretty stable
7. Apple TV Gen 5, sound issue resolved. Netfix works on the Apple TV.
8. Startup time and response improved

I can take some limited questions and am happy to run a few tests on issues people may have which would help my own testing.

Unfortunately I cannot load pictures for some reason.

I've had a "crash" a couple of days ago. TV rebooted showing the Android logo and so on...

As of then whenever I press the "TV" button (and without selecting a video source) on the remote the Radio source shows up on the TV... even though no radio has been added to the TV button; only to the Music button...

Hope that the coming forware update solves the problem...

Hi Karel,

Try removing Radio from the Music button on the Remote. Then use one of the configurable buttons to save YouTube or something else that works.

Turn the TV off and allow the Remote to update whilst the TV is in standby. Then use the configurable button above to start the TV. If YouTube starts, let the TV run for a few minutes, then turn off.

Now try starting using the TV button. If it works, add Radio to the Music button again... etc...

Sorry I'm late to reply.

I have an AppleTV connected to HDMI as my only source. Once every week the sound will just disappear completely, like a process has exited or something - no notification or error message is given.

As far as I know only the Android based Horizon and Avant.

No other news as yet.

For BV14 or Horizon/Avant ? 

I bought the Avant NG  10 months ago but still haven't installed it yet... too much renovation ongoing

Concerning the remote issue I had.. that's solved since the firmware update from some weeks ago.

Remote usage feels snappier also.

Also... I noticed that my BV14 turns up as a Bluetooth device.  Haven't done any testing with it (yet).
