hi all,

I have a BLGW which I am just getting started with programming and setting up, but am stuck with RS232 programming. I have a V1 which is set up for a matrix but as I don't own an atlona I can not control via puc, so I am looking at controlling my HDanywhere matrix via RS232.

What I am trying to achieve is when I press say DTV on my beo 4, my V1 selects dtv and the BLGW then sends an RS232 command to the matrix to tell it to turn on output 1 hdmi 1 (BABABFC60401008A) via USB to RS232 cable.

if some one can tell me how to start I can hopefully work out the rest.

thanks

Toby

Use the MLGW protocol to send strings. I use it via tcp/ip but should be exactly the same for serial
