Hi,
Thanks for having another bash at my options settings dilemma. As requested, here's a map of my system in the house - as mentioned, I really can't get the settings right to enable both the BC2 and BM5/BS5 to work together. Withe the below settings, I get no sound out from the BM5/BS5 although the BC2 shows the metadata.
New: Beovision Harmony, Beolab 50's, Beolab 28's, Beolab 18's, Beolab 17's, Beosound Stage & LG, Beosound 2, Beoplay M3, Beoplay A1, Beoplay Portal, Beoplay H4 gen 2, Beoplay E8 3.0

Mikipedi4 on Twitch: https://www.twitch.tv/mikipedi4
Mikipedia on Intagram: https://www.instagram.com/mikipedi4/
Old: Beosound 9000 mk3, Beolab 3's, Beovision Eclipse, Beolab 1's, Beolab 2, Beovision 10-46, Overture 2300, beolab 8000's, Beolab 4000's, Beovision avant 32" etc. etc.
Mikipedia: @ Ammier Was that the s8 connection hub? if so that's very unfortunate, because I was thinking in the back of my head that you could always get one of those, if your tv doesn't have a surround processor, and have 4x bl5 just in stereo. that still would've been an awesome setup :p Your experience sounds very similar to mine unfortunately as in ''it's the customers fault until we find out it's our fault all along''. I don't remember it ever being like this before and I don't think it's a good long term strategy. I still don't understand the idea of making and selling products that they themselves don't fully understand. They must know themselves what their resources are, so that is a real head scratcher to me. I don't mind that they improve existing products, I don't even mind helping them in the process, but if I am basically a beta tester at this point I don't feel it's fair to pay full price. We'll have a good show again on Sunday (7pm Amsterdam time :p), if you or anybody else has any more questions and or ideas feel free to let us know! Thanks for watching :D

Sorry Michael, I missed this one. I have been travelling like crazy. Anyway caught the latest couple of episodes, really enjoyable. You all seem to have a bit of a love/hate relationship with the brand as do I
In response to your question it was the S8 hub and may that device burn in hell for all the problems I had with it! lol. As you mentioned on the latest episode, I have also had a look at Loewe, its great stuff but I agree with you not great in the audio department. They have a nice price spectrum on TV´s and its not so hard to integrate, all made in Germany, and processing is developed in house. It think its a great brand!
I was thinking if you move to the 90´s, maybe you should consider a demo pair if cost is a consideration which with them I think it is for most . I mean I have seen them in Sweden and UK, the latter was new from dealer, a cancelled order. It knocked about 20k Euro off them which is not bad.

Hi guys,
BeoTalk will be in about 2 hours, if you have any questions for us you can leave them here or join us live on youtube obviously (link down below) hope to you at 7pm (Amsterdam time) and if not hope you all had a good weekend!
michael
Hi Michael,
Hope all is well. I have not been around for awhile, work and two small children takes up a lot of time
I am all caught up on the latest from you guys, really enjoying it. Some good banter!
The only thing I would suggest is, only if it makes sense, to have a downloadable podcast version. The episodes are quite long and it would be easier to catch them on the go, I rarely have time to catch them live.
In terms of topics: latest rumours is always fun, I think a session on alternatives to b&o products (competitors) could be cool and possibly general tech developments relevant to B&O.
How is it going with the 50s? Whats the latest? The white ones were crazy, loved them!! Still thinking of the 90s? Have you thought about getting a demo pair, you save about 20k. I have seen a couple in the Netherlands and Sweden. If you got the warranty, it might make sense.
I am waiting to move before I decide whats next but with a 9 months old and 3.5 years old maintaining the perimeter around the 20s is exhausting, might put up an electric fence . Perhaps I am at a life stage where everything has to be on the wall.
By the way I thought you might find these vids interesting as a fellow tech enthusiast:
Sennheiser are launching a soundbar with active room compensation, its how I imagine a B&O´s would be. Got great reviews at CES:

This was also a cool video on the latest development in tv tech, really interesting watch:

I also heard the other day, the Kii three active speakers and I think they are based in the Netherlands, fantastic sound but ugly. Would definitely consider them in a more dedicated room!
Anyway, good luck with the next Beotalk!
Hi Everybody,
Our podcast will live again tomorrow evening 7pm Amsterdam time. Last week we did a little review of Erik's vacation in London, half way through my PC crashed so there is an A and B side.
Turns out however that my cpu cooler was dying and the pump stopped working(it worked intermittently), that is why we didn't have a live show on Sunday. I am very sorry this happened! However I have fixed my rig again and we're ready to rumble :D
If anybody has any questions, suggestion and or topics feel free to leave them here on join us live tomorrow on YouTube (link down below)
hope to see you all tomorrow, and if not, you can always watch it back later at your own leisure :)
Michael
Mikipidia:Hi guys! We’ll be live again tonight with a new BeoTalk at 8pm Amsterdam time/7pm uk time hope you guys can join us live and if not, you can watch it back at any time on youtube! See you all tonight Michael

hope to all see you tonight as we'll be doing a mic comparison for you guys to hear so you'll know the difference between the older beoplay headphones and the newer ones :)
link in bio as always and hope to see you all tonight :D
And We're Live, with Erik :p
Does he see a future without BEOVISION ?
Is he selling a lot of Eclipse? and when he does, do most go for premium fret cover?
Is he liking the Beoremote one compared to earlier?
Does he install Apple TV in most of the TV they are selling?
Is he missing a >65 tv in his selection? (Is he getting one soon :) )
How is it going with the BEOLAB 50?
And BEOLAB 90?
How does WiSa work for them in generel? Also do they mostly use cable or WiSa?
Do they have a lot of customers with full surround system, or is that few ?
Does he think that there should be a smaller sub then Beolab 19?
Does Beoplay mean a lot for them, or are they concentrated with the B&O products?
Is he him self a member of Beoworld?
Beovision Harmony 77" 2nd Gen, Beolab 5, Beolab 17, Beosound 1, Beoplay M3, Beoplay Portal, Beoplay Earset, Beoliving Intelligence
Please remind him of the mail I send hom about the BS 1/2-2018 and Spotify Connect.
He said - in his video - that there is support for Spotify Connect.
But in the specs Spotify Connect is not mentioned anymore.
And ask him, how he (and his costumers) feel about Spotify Connect missing in the newest products!
MM
There is a tv - and there is a BV
Loving the questions, keep them coming!
I'm looking forward to the podcast.
