Many thanks, John - looks fantastic!
I am for the wood not only because of my 19s but the cloth (IMHO) doesn't carry the same style.
Looking forward to a local demo :-)
Well done,- brilliant video. The enthusiasm and passion is radiating from the two of them,- simply captivating
Nice video, John - although I had expected someting a bit more ‘in-depth’.
Probably that is too early - seems very beta that BV.
MM
There is a tv - and there is a BV
Hi Miki,
maybe you - once you have finished roasting John - could consider discussing the subject of this thread in the next cast:
https://archivedforum2.beoworld.org/forums/p/17876/284190.aspx#284190
Maybe one/some of you has/have experience - or someone in the comment section?
Hi, you're exactly right. I will do a more in depth video once I get the finished version later in the year. I was on a tight deadline for filming and don't have all of the official specs and features yet.
Thanks for the nice comments and thanks to Miki for inviting me on the podcast, it was an absolute blast last week.
I am going to see it in about 2 weeks so I shall try to have a video too, what exactly would you like to see more of millemissen?
And yes, it was great to have you on as always John! It was a lovely typical British Sunday roast :p
Mikipidia: I am going to see it in about 2 weeks so I shall try to have a video too, what exactly would you like to see more of millemissen?
I guess nothing, that can be answered right now.
From the video, that Henrik made, we know that nothing has changed since the first presentation of the BV Harmony......still veeeery beta.

@Millemissen at this point you know more than I do as I don't understand Danish at all lol
Hi everyone,
Today/tonight we’ll be live again! The link: https://youtu.be/Dc3fhxp9Ff4
Let's hope Henrik is back in time as he's been speaking to a bunch on Beo HQ people and went to an event to see the new Beovision Harmony. Let's also hope I don't roast out of my chair as it's about 31C here today lol. Also don’t forget we that we’d still love to see what gear you’re rocking so you can leave pictures on here or send them to me via email at mikipedi4@gmail.com. The same goes for any topics you’d like us to discuss or questions you may have, anything goes basically as long as it's legal.
We’ll go live (Sunday) at 8pm/7pm/1pm CST - Amsterdam/UK time/USA time.
We hope you can come join us live again on YouTube (link down below) tomorrow/today and otherwise I hope to see you guys in the comments!

Honestly, there was nothing that you don’t already know, I guess.
Admittedly, seeing it in the flesh is different than just looking at pictures.
I guess it will be the same (= one out of five) preproduction item, that you will see in some days.

Yeah they're made by a mate of mine, so it's custom.
If you're interested you can email him at pingvin@live.nl
Hi Guys, sorry I didnt make it for your Live event, but its been a crazy week, with the BeoVision Harmony Show, pick up of my summer-car which has been in the shop since october last year and some Formula 1.
I was quite surprised about the TV, and man it looks good in the flesh
The Alignment on the speakers wasent ready yet as you have seen in alot of the pictures online - but this is a beta product 1 of 5 pcs WorldWide.
The Speakers wasent tuned either so it was really beta, but everything will be ready for the release date (B&O says)
Hopefully I'll be able to join next time.

Hi Michael,
Great show yesterday as always, I have to resort to downloading with YouTube and catching them whilst commuting which works well
Quick question, just moved to a new house and I want to upgrade the network. I am not up to speed on the mesh network thing.
Just had a look ubiquiti in the store which you guys mention a lot, not sure what exactly I need here? The house is 3 floors and currently there is the ISP router (fiber) on the ground plus an ethernet connection in the living room on the same floor and another on the third floor.
What should I be looking at here? Amplify HD (router and 2 mesh nodes) or the AC AP pro? With the pro do you need to wire them all of just connect one to the router and then link the boxes wirelessly on each floor.
What do you recommend?
Really appreciate the help
Ammier

Hi Ammier,
Congratulations with your new house!
first to start with have you tested your current wifi situation and how is it? do you happen to know what your floors/ceilings are made out of? as in wood, concreet or metal?
To start of with, if you can, wiring will always give you the best results. Having said that, I currently use the ubiquiti hd amplifi mesh and it works great here with a lot of concrete around me. I now get a heck of a lot of distance even in the hallways below me where there didn't used to be any. I used to have a massive netgear nighthawk one which had technically more range and throughput, but just got defeated by concrete with metal reinforcement in it(it's a wavelength thing) where as it works fantastic for my two last places(one was a regular house). If you live anywhere local you can dm me if you like to have mine as I now only use the ubiquiti one. So to summarise, both work great and the ubiquiti mesh is probably cheaper than the pro stuff, but it depends a bit on where you live and how it's built.
hope that helps?
thanks for thinking with me Both masters where on the same software and the slave speaker is on the same software too so that can't be it(I checked lol). Other than that it's gone again so I have no idea what caused it or cured it so to say. I've been testing most of the day again and doing a bunch of speaker group settings etc and it's been fine again. It still boggles my mind that, gear wise, nothing has changed really and it's fine now where it wasn't before with the same gear and no software has even been changed. It's just bizar really but thank god it's fine again now.
Thanks a lot for this, very helpful!
Its a typical Scandinavian wooden townhouse, newly built. The issue I think is that the router from the ISP just is not very good for wifi, they offered to sell another newer wifi router because I dont get a good connection on the top floor. They offered that to all the new neighbours.....
Anyway, I always hear everyone say to go the mesh network route with B&O as its more stable but then I got lost in the options Pro vs HD. I did look at the Amplify HD with 2 nodes in the shop so I am going to give that a try per your recommendation.
Unfortunately, hardwiring is going to be a pain her due layout. I currently running a short term solution of a beosound core and transmitter 1 with the 20s and have ordered a beosound 1 for the bedroom.
Undecided on TV but thinking about the 65inch harmony for the living room, the one every dealer says is coming but its still a secret, but I dont have room for a floorstand so it depends on how the wallmount looks but I have not seen any more info on that option yet.
By the way, well done with beotalk! Great banter and good info, I thoroughly enjoy watching!

I went to a Beovision Harmony Launch event last week and it's sooo much better in person than it is in the pictures B&O supply us with. Also, does anybody know if the Danish gouvernement built the Streur Factory in the minecraft server? Also for suggestions, fan pics, gear pictures email me at mikipedi4@gmail.com

Hi guys,
Had to reupload the podcast as YouTube took a nose dive at the 2 hour mark, fortunately I recorded it all locally. So it's all there now and you can watch it in full at your own leisure
link: https://youtu.be/2AWui8wHUpA
Since I can’t spend 2-3 hours on a sunday evening watching the podcast, I always try to (!) catch up with it in the following days.
This time I noticed that the comment section is missing....why?
Streaming via AP to ATV/BV from the Youtube app on my iPad - if that matters.
Hi MM,
When YouTube takes a nose dive, basically what I mean is that you lose the ability to upload/stream. I record it locally so that's where the base video now comes from. The chat you normally see is a function of YouTube while being live, so I don't record it, but that also means that in cases like this when I re-upload the file the chat gets lost as it's not a part of the ''new'' video. Hope that makes sense?
Sure it makes sense - but it is a shame anyway, since you often refer to, interact with the chat.
Hope it gets better next time - fine that you recorded the stream, though.
By the way - did you rearrange your room.........in the picture of the latest Beotalk it was reversed.
Ha! funny you spotted that, but no. What I actually discovered was that my webcam's picture was 180 degree flipped. So I flipped it correctly as my speakers etc are actually to the left behind me in real life
Two hours would have been plenty! IMHO you should aim for 1.5 hours max, and do it every-second-week. Do we care about "Family Guy" and "Asian Lane Change"? Or that your cats are hungry? Or John's camera mount hijinks?
I enjoy John telling us what happened in the store this week, and Willie recounting his latest install/repair woes, and you & Willie telling us the progress of your personal installations (e.g. ticking). But this week was a waste of 2 hours. Sorry to be a naysayer, because it's hard to find anecdotal information about B&O configurations, and clearly it's a labor of love because you can't possibly be monetizing this. But you should know when you're a snore. No, you can't rehearse the talk-show format, but,... make a highlights reel!
Respectfully submitted,
I must say that I - with all respect - must second that.
Please tighten up the podcast - in the end your longtime viewers will ‘run away’.
trackbeo is describing the case perfectly - please think about it.....and keep on doing INTERESTING BeoTalks.
I think the podcasts are great as they are. Asking you guys to just talk about B&O is a bit like asking the guys on Top Gear to just talk about cars. I like the banter and understanding what you watch and listen to helps us to understand how B&O fits into your life.
Let's hope B&O give you more to talk about in the near future.
More or less agreed, though a bit of structure, focus would elevate it.
Mike does a great job, and always asks for questions / topics to discuss, thou doesn't always get any responses. Having Henryk, John and occasionally Steve on has already helped moved things forward (no disrespect meant to the original gang of three!).
I'm sure there are loads of questions, issues people have in mind they could forward in advance.
Also, and I appreciate not everyone wants to do this, but sending in pictures of your setup would be great. I think many would love to see how people have set up, placed, configured and use their B&O infrastructure.I It was a really good segment when they guys have shown set=ups that have been sent in. I'd encourage others to do so, with the aforementioned caveat in mind.
