Aussie Michael:For those who may not have seen, B&O advised that the maximum the stand can take is 25.6kg (including TV and Stage), and this means that the exact TV’s it’s designed for don’t fit. So i asked support to re clarify their position. I asked the question to B&O because I was thinking of buying one and putting my Sony TV on (55HX820) on it and as it stands (lol) officially I can’t.

Actually I have a semi-serious question for next week's chat-box: Christian K. surely can't answer the actual question, but an interesting rephrased version might be possible... To wit: I just saw in "Sound & Vision" a review of the MantelMount MM860 (also at https://www.soundandvision.com/content/mantelmount-mm860-motorized-tv-mount-review ) . Consider the crazy American who wants his sleek TV above the fireplace, and installs one of those sleek gas-fired inserts flush on the wall so there's plenty of room to slide in front, not needing the ugly articulation & back-box of the MantelMount.
Thus comes the question: "Has anybody at Streuer ever test-mounted a Harmony *upside down*?" That might be company private, but the alternate question(s) about what, whether, and how much any particular parts must or could be tied-down, would be clear to anyone who has installed one. For example, the VESA mount for the panel itself must work in any orientation 360 degrees (but only in-plane of course, lest the screen crack). But are the motors ratcheted or relying on the weight to move controls in one direction but not the other? Do the speaker-grille aligners only work with weight borne by gravity or do they have so-called "positive control"?
It would be cool, and not just for those loonies who ceiling-mounted their BeoLab 8000's back when.
Well, flying telly would surely make for a novel installation. One could fix the VESA mount with steel inserts, but not the springs. Probably they are tuned per-screen-weight too, to prevent unsightly lurching on start. I was imagining a cross torsion spring that was adjusted, like an overhead garage door (Americanus), where *both* up and down directions the electric opener has very little work. Let it pass unless you think CK might say something funny or telling.

Looking forward to getting your thoughts on the H95s. One thing I'd like to hear discussed on the podcast is the setup that you and Erik (if he's on tonight's show) have been using to test the H95s e.g. are you guys primarily listening to the headphones with an external DAC or B&O system using a wired connection, or have you been using them with your mobile devices as well. This request is mainly for my own curiosity as I'm somewhat tempted at some point to pick up the BeoPlayH95s. However I' slightly worried that the hardware of the BeoPlay H95 headphones might be overkill for my needs compared to my current H9is, as I primarily listen to music using Spotify on my smartphone/tablet rather than a dedicated music system.
Anyway, I'll definitely be running in to tonight's show. Should be a good one!
