How many people need to vote to make this worthwhile?

To have an awards poll, we need to have a reasonable number of votes cast; how many should that be?

  • 20 or less (0%)
  • 20 - 50 (25.6%)
  • 50 - 100 (48.8%)
  • over 100 (25.6%)
  • Total Votes: 43

*bump* since surveys drift to the bottom of the heap even when people answer them

I made them sticky so if you go to the general forum, they are near the top! Smile

I only ever use ActiveTopics so I did not know Smile

Hopefully we will pick up more than 27 votes if there are other omnivores like me Big Smile

past winners have recieved engraved trophies and/or plonk!

All of which is of course unecessary - being recognised, as in all walks of life, is prize enough! (Although some who narrowly missed have thrown themselves from high buildings and some winners have failed to reach the same standard ever since)!Whistle

Ban boring signatures!

I once asked a very young looking F16 pilot, where his vast array of medals came from. One was for flying over Northern Ireland(a war zone)Travel

Beosound Stage, Beovision 8-40, Beolit 20, Beosound Explore.

After the last vote, I was depressive for 3 hours, for not being mentioned, until the rum did its good work.

And 73% think that we need over 50 votes to make this valid! Smile

Plenty of active members, but not that many interested in the Beoworld awards. We usually struggle to get to double figures if I am honest! Not a problem; we just need to concentrate on what we are good at - helpful answers and interesting restorations!

Maybe some non-English language chaps only rarely visit the General Forum ?

Or perhaps, alternative hypothesis, no one likes to offend friends by making choices ?

Or possibly, we are bad decision makers, as evidenced by not letting go and having a collection of 4 x Beograms, 3 x Beosystem stackable sets, 2 x Beomasters, 1 x Beocord, 2 x Beosound 2s, 1 x Beosound, 2 x Beovision, 9 x Beolab pairs, and 9 remotes ?

Just placed my vote, I actually could not vote using my iPhone App.

Well, better late than never :-)
