Hi all,

New to the forum, I've just picked up a beomaster 1900-2 with beovox s35s, Beogram 2202 and a beocord 1900, not a bad haul.

Everything seems to be working great, all lights and functions etc. except the beomaster has quite an annoying hum. It's most noticeable at quiet to medium volumes but gets drowned out at high volumes. It increases volume when nothing is playing. It's consistent across inputs.

I'd really love to get it sounding clearer, only strange bit is that its wired with European 2 pin plugs as was bought there but now its in the UK and uses adaptor, just incase that helps the diagnosis.

Thanks in advance would appreciate any help.

Just like all other units of this series it will be in need of new capacitors in general.
A kit is available. Basic electronic tools and skills required (soldering etc.)
PM/email me.
