Hi guys

I just bought a M5 to connect to my Eclipse. They are in the same room but aprox. 10 meters away from each other. I set everything up and pressed join on the M5 only to have massive echo. I have been in the network delay option on the Eclipse and set the delay to 30 ms (lowest possible) but still get an awful delay. What am I missing?

BeoVision Eclipse 55, BeoPlay S8 (sub+rears), BeoPlay A9 MKII (living room), BeoVision Avant 32 DVD (retro gaming, basement), BeoLab 4000 (entertainment room, basement), BeoSound 8 (workshop), 2x BeoPlay S3 (PC), BeoPlay A1, BeoPlay H2/H3 (on the go)

Interesting - must try that with my Beolink ML/NL converter and my BV11. The sound from the tv is delayed

Well yesterday I thought it worked - maybe I just wanted it to work so badly Whistle It still has echo. The sound from the television is just slightly ahead of the M5. Is it possible to delay the sound from the television to compensate?

BeoVision Eclipse 55, BeoPlay S8 (sub+rears), BeoPlay A9 MKII (living room), BeoVision Avant 32 DVD (retro gaming, basement), BeoLab 4000 (entertainment room, basement), BeoSound 8 (workshop), 2x BeoPlay S3 (PC), BeoPlay A1, BeoPlay H2/H3 (on the go)

I have forwarded the problem to Bang & Olufsen support. Maybe you should do the same? If there is no solution at the moment they have to solve it.

Is it just the TV audio that "echos", or does all audio echo?

It is my understanding that the TV audio "echo" is "as designed".  If you delay the audio playback on the TV, then the sound will no longer be synched with the picture so now you need to "delay" the picture as well.  Music sources that originate from the sound center (Deezer, Spotify, Bluetooth) should be synched.

eh, don't understand - makes no sense that tv sound is delayed with purpose. Or do I understand you wrong? :)

Strangely it has been working flawlessly for the last couple of days. Set to 30/30 milliseconds. Fingers crossed it will stay this way Whistle
