I´m wondering what is the best practice to connect my new TX2 to my Becocenter 9500. Does a simple Cinch to DIN adapter do the job? I´m sceptical because the Beogram output cinch cord house an integrated ground cable. Any help would be highly appreciated.

Hi.

the principle should work, the BM9500 has the Phono input RIAA preamp.
The ground cable should be connected to the metal chassis of the BM9500.
A simple RCA RCA to DIN adapter can transmit only the audio signals,

if the TX2 is to be remotely controlled, a conversion to a 7 pole DIN cable is necessary !

Hi pizzafunghi,

Welcome to Beoworld!  Yes, this is possible, as Wilfried mentioned the Beocenter 9500 has a phono RIAA pre-amp fitted, so you just need a cable to link the Beogram to the Phono socket on the 9500.

Please feel free to get in touch via my sponsor link at the foot of this page to let me know the cable length you need and I will be pleased to quote for the correct cable with the ground connection included.

Kind regards, Steve.
