Hello,

Currently, I'm using an AURALIC Aries Mini which is attached via TOSLINK to my Beolab 18 speakers.

Since the AURALIC lacks Spotify support, I'm thinking about buying a B&O Core.

Is it possible to adjust Bass and Treble values of the Core by using the B&O app ?

Best regards,

Ruediger

I thought the Mini supported Spotify Connect?

According to Auralic's website, neither Aries nor Mini lists it in the specifications.

BUT according to John Darko, they both now support it:

My friend who has one told me it had Spotify Connect, so I was puzzled. I have to say, Auralic's website is awful. It's hard to find out info about the products, and I couldn't easily find a way to download any manuals for the Mini. I'm seriously thinking about a Mini since it supports adding a HD so I won't have to worry about a PC being up and running to use my iTunes. My friend is very satisfied with his.

Bluesound node II streams everything.

Works perfect!

And a great support.

Hi,

I have a Auralic Mini and an Auralic Aries. All I can say is that both these devices has a very good soundquality and the Lightning DS-app is extremly good. Spotify Connect is supported for both devices since 2 month ago. I have tried it and it works perfect.

For me it is hard to see that the Beosound Core is as good as the Auralic Mini. Both have the same cost but the Auralic Mini (and all their products) is real High-End and very well supported with very good and stable software and hardware. The only positive thing with the CORE is that You will get nice integration with B&O:s televisions and loudspeakers.

Best Regards
Martin

Spotify Connect is supported by the Beta firmware only as it is not yet included in the official firmware.

Besides, it still seems to be a bit buggy - especially the volume control does not alway work as expected.

Does the Core also have a loudness function which can be toggled by the App ?
