RJ 45 and subwoofer / extra speakers

I have my house wired with Cat 7 and RJ 45's. between three spots in the house. Two spots are in one room. BV8 Beocenetre 2 and BL8000's and BL 19 are connected to Beosound 9000 and BL 6000 in front room. The middle connection is just looped.

Can I, with the aid of an RJ45 double adapter, connect either the Subwoofer or another set of speakers to this 'looped' point in the middle on the other side of the room. I ask because I would like to move the subwoofer out of the way to the other side of the room when it is less likely to get kicked.

I hope this explanation is clear enough.

Are all the items (BV8 Beocenter 2 and BL8000's and BL 19 and Beosound 9000 and BL 6000) in the same room please?

Which product do you wish to connect the subwoofer or new speakers to?

It is worth noting that RJ45 splitters are usually intended for Ethernet port sharing, ie. they don't provide the correct wiring for splitting out Beolab speaker connections to multiple speakers.  The best option is likely to be using an RJ45 to Powerlink splitter to link extra speakers so that you can then connect the speakers to the splitter with regular Powerlink cables:-

All are in the one room except the BL6000 and Beosound 9000. At the moment I have the Bl19 plugged into the BV8 together with the BL9000's. I want to move it to the other side of the room where there is an RJ45 outlet and inlet going to the front room to the Beosound 9000.

Hi Patrick,

Thanks for your reply.  As long as the Cat7 cables and connectors have the shielding conductors connected and they run directly from point to point within the room (ie. they don't go back to an equipment room or patch panel) then they can be used for Beolab speakers.  If you get noise through the speakers when connecting via the Cat7 cables, it is likely that the Cat cabling is unsuitable, so we can look at alternative options if required.

Please run a single Powerlink to RJ45 cable from the TV to the nearest Cat7 wall plate: https://soundsheavenly.com/bang-olufsen/rj45-to-powerlink-compatible-all-in-one-cable-convert-new-2013-ethernet-powerlink-to-traditional-8-pin-din-powerlink

At the speaker end of the Cat7 cable, please fit an RJ45 to twin Powerlink Splitter: https://soundsheavenly.com/bang-olufsen/rj45-powerlink-compatible-splitter-new-powerlink-to-two-8-pin-din-powerlink-compatible-sockets

You can then link the Beolab 19 subwoofer to this with an RJ45 to Powerlink cable: https://soundsheavenly.com/bang-olufsen/rj45-to-powerlink-compatible-all-in-one-cable-convert-new-2013-ethernet-powerlink-to-traditional-8-pin-din-powerlink

The Beolab 8000 speakers can then link to the other socket of the splitter via a regular Powerlink cable: https://soundsheavenly.com/powerlink-8-pin-din-connection/powerlink-mk-3-compatible-8-pin-din-cable-with-4-cores-wired-low-profile-cable
