Hi Everyone,
I am curious about the nominal impedance rating of some Beovox speakers, for instance the P30 or P45, but also some others: it says on the back or in the specifications "4-8 Ohms".
Can anyone enlighten me what does this really mean? My first guess would be that the impedance stays within that range for the whole frequency range stated on the specification sheet, but I cannot find absolutely any information on this, no impedance graphs are available anywhere online.

I was just about to post more or less the same question - I have a pair of M100-2 rated at 4 - 8 ohms. I have connected them to a Valve Amp which has posts for 4 ohm or 8ohm speakers - I used the 4 ohms ones but wonder if that is correct and you should go for the maximum. With valve amps my understanding is that if you crank the volume up and the impedence is incorrect you could blow the valves as the power goes back into the amp if the speakers cannot provide enough of a load?
Greatful for any advice on which settings I should use and more information
