I have replaced all of the capacitors in my Beomaster 2300 (which is a 1900) using the kit from Martin.
It was working before I started.
All of the lamps are working.
IL1 voltage varies with the volume control changing. It tests at 15 ohms with the power off.
31V rail is working
There is 0.5V at the gate of TR206 when off the lowest volume point (changes to -6V when at the lowest volume)
The base of TR207 has -0.2V on it when in tape mode which changes to 0.7V when in standby.
I haven't changed the pot sliders yet as they looked okay (and worked fine before)
I think the next thing is for me to follow a signal through using an oscilloscope unless anyone else can suggest anything?
Thanks
Paul
One point is the speakers have a light thump on the first change from standby to on, and on any time changing back to standby.
I replaced and adjusted the trimpots to 12mV (TR249/349)
Got an oscilloscope, easy fix - Connector P3 wasn't plugged in
A couple of problems still to solve
Any ideas?
