I have recently re-discovered my record collection in the loft gathering dust (well only on the outside of the box) and I wish to connect a record player to my BeoSound 4.  Do I need a pre-amp or is the AUX port already have an amplifier built in?

Thanks

AUX is line level - you'll need a "Phono-Preamp" connected between record player and AUX-IN of your BSd4.

You need Minijack to B&O Masterlink Cable

And then play through the N.MUSIC

That works for me
