I do hope I don’t sound thick. I have a complete Beomaster 7000 system with Beolab 8000 speakers.

i have had it serviced three times for the same fault, for some unknown reason after a few weeks of worry free playing sound just disappears. This has always been between beogram and amp but today it did this again so I tried the cd deck and the same thing no sound.

i think it has to be the amp. So my question is do I get serviced again or think bin off the amp and replace it.

i only really ipuse the turntable so I can go minimalist just speakers turntable and then my next question phone amp to speakers or do I get s decent amplifer / phono stage and connect up the old fashioned way

or option three get powered speakers brand new , phono amp and keep the turntable

Thanks in advance

Will
