Millemissen:How many different hardware versions of the converter exists - and what are the differences? MM
This is the only variant known to me.
Note: the first BLC had some connections hidden behind stickers, but were identical to the later ones.
It seems the BLGW is another variant.
I have seen several units marked as NL/ML Converters that had been turned into BLGW units. After spending much time trying to do resets and various means of establishing a connection, the way I realized this was by using the Ping app, in which the devices appeared as BLGW.
@Carolpa and beojeff
Thanks!
By the way - which woiuld be the latest manual/guide for the converter?
I have a version 1.4.

Is there anyone that have tried to load BLGW software NL/ML converter? How did you get the converter to load new software?
Any news on this topic?
For the moment I have a spare Beolink NL / ML Converter (does not find Software updates anymore - servers down?).
So I think about turning it into a BLGW.

This can be done using Service Tool MK2 +. In the Products/BLC/Softwaredownload directory, copy the contents of the Products/BeoLinkGateway/SoftWaredownload catalog.Copy the XML file from the ModuleSpec directory. The update is via the TFTPD server and takes about 30 minutes.
Hi Jack,
sorry for the stupid question but is there a way to download the service tool? I have not found the tool.
Thanks for your help.
Tim
The application has a service, you also need to have an account in B&O to download the firmware. Currently, it occupies over 8GB.
