I have a Nokia 8 phone which is android. Whenever I try to pair the A6 with the Nokia 8 the beoplay A6 rejects it. It simply refuses to pair with the Nokia. Beoplay support told me that they cannot confirm compatibility and are sincerely sorry for the inconvenience.
I thought all beoplay products are android compatible and I don't know what I should do or if there is anything I can do.
Sadly that's a known issue with the Nokia 8, Nokia implemented Bluetooth version 5 so maybe there is a compatibility issue.
Are you able to pair your phone with other bluetooth devices successfully and does it work without disconnections and dropouts?
If it works you are lucky because bluetooth issues like that are a well known Nokia 8 Oreo FW bug.

How about playing music via Chromecast? Works flawlessly and with much better sound quality, because B&O devices do not support bluetooth aptx code for a better sound.
Hi thanks yes I have paired my Nokia 8 with various speakers like Bose and Sony works fine.
My A6 doesn't like my Nokia. Spotify connect works flawlessly but I have files downloaded on my phone that I'd like to listen to..oh well...
You say beoplay doesn't support aptx Bluetooth but I'm sure I read somewhere that the S3 speaker supports this...
