forigive my ignorance- Masterlink question

Afternoon all

Wondered if anyone can clarify the following:

I have a multi room ML set up but to enable some decorating I've had to take apart a ML junction box and separate the ML cable and the ML "socket" end in order to thread the ML cable through a hole that was too small for the box to fit.

Am I correct in saying that until I re-connect the ML cable to the junction box and also the ML "socket" end my system will NOT work?

If you could be a bit more specific to how your setup is configured...which products, rooms etc, your chances for a qualified answer would be bigger.

However, if the ML is just going to a linkroom product and no other products are involved, you should be able to use the system.

Hi,

Please power off all connected B&O products when working on the Masterlink connections.  When the link is broken, your "Master" products, eg. TV, Beosound, etc should work as normal in most cases if they have their own speakers connected.

If you have a Beosound that normally plays through the TV speakers, then this won't work without the Masterlink cable connected.  Any link room speakers won't work until the cable is connected again.
