Beosound 1 and Beogram Turntable

Can I hook a Beogram turtable to my Beosound 1 and listen to my lp's?

It should be possible i think... And would the sound be good??

depending on the turntable you need some pre-amp. Check out the solution with Steve from Sounds-Heavenly (on o fht esite sponsors). The make very good quality cables at reasonable prices. He will have your solution

Thanks I want to use the Beogram 7000 turntable. Is it possible just using a cable? Why would I need a pre amp?

The beosound 1 has it's own amp.

i'm good to go. the beogram 7000 has it's own amp so it's plug and play. great news.
