Is the mechanism of the 3 belt version the same as any other period beocord? The service guide schematic only shows the single belt version (which I believe was a later version?).

Any help appreciated!

Actually, the one belt deck was the early version.
The three-belt deck came later.
Having said that, there seems to be an overlap where both deck types were fitted at "random".
The two deck types are very different and far from interchangeable.

I think the single capstan belt version was the early one,the same as the Beocenter 9000,8500,and Beocord 5500?

Then they introduced the three belt version that I think I've only seen in the later Beocenter 9500.

Another single belt  mech was introduced in Beocenter 9300,and this became the universal one, subsequently used across the range of machines

Thanks both - that explains it.

Martin, I’m guessing you have the belt kits for the 3 belt version?

I have belts for both versions.
