Hi there,

Does anyone know if this is possible with the Eclipse software? I want to potentially integrate my Essence MKII with the TV to use the BL18s attached to the TV.

BeoVision Eclipse 55”, Beolab 18s, Beolab 19s, Beosound 1, Beoplay P2, H3, BeoRemote One IR, BeoRemote One BT, Beoplay S8, Beosound Essence MkII, BeoTime

My understanding of the Eclipse is that it’s already a kind of Essence (more specifically a Core) integrated with a TV : you can already use the soundcenter as a music system via the Bang&Olufsen app... I don’t see what would be the benefit of adding an Essence!

The Eclipse does not natively support integrated setups.

Ah, you know... A little B&O here, a little there

No need to - these functions are built in to the Sound Center, anyway.

@Peter Pan

the Essence MK2 is a 2 channel/stereo device without speakers.

What would you want to ‘DIY change’ there?

It was to use the Essence line-in but guessing I could probably put a turntable into the Eclipse directly?

Yes, the soundcenter is in fact... a sound center!

You’ll need a RIAA, but without being a 100% sure, i’d say you would, with the essense as well.
