I don't like it and I don't get it. This is a digital playback system that looks like it is analog? That is like having a streaming service attached under a turntable so you don't have to flip the album over.
There is a beauty to the sound and feel of cassettes and analog recording. That's why people still use them and there is a very active international tape culture. Quality cassette decks are increasing in demand and there is even a renewed form of magnetic tape being developed here in the USA.
Thanks for posting ngnear , its always good to learn about new stuff!
Point 1
If I want the beauty and authenticity of analogue sound I would go for a quality LP or tape deck. B&O exceled in this, complete with multiroom too! IMHO was never bettered as an overall package by any other maufacturer.
Point 2
For convenience of selelction and more importatntly cataloging streaming services are just superb!
One thing for sure is. I would never ever bother and dont have the time to convert an analgue collection to try and emulate point 2.

Really strange project I would say.... but a bit fun
Especially the version where he have fitted a screen, emulating the look of a cassette. Seems to be fitted into old cassette deck chassis..Wonder who "needs" something like this
