hi all its been a while since ive been around, i have a 32" avant crt vhs tv. when i turn the external stb off i used to be left with a black screen as per normal, NOW if i turn the stb off and leave the avant powered on, the screen is a darkish reddish brown with reddish brown vertical lines going across the screen, this happens and gets worse when i play a dvd when the image is on the screen BUT only in the borders, when i turn DVD1 off the screen is as above. when i watch a tv program through the external stb box the picture is totally unaffected. anyone make snse of what is going on? has the de-guasser failing or is the tube about to die on me???? please help!!!!
