Hi All
Very recently I visited my local B&O in Norwich to DROOL over the new Beovision 11 what a beautiful piece of kit it is IMHO. Whilst there I studued Beolab 12" WALL MOUNTED" speakers? I raised the question about what the stands for free mounting would look like, as that they are to be BL8002 replacements." Oh the BL12 are only to be wall mounted" was the reply, my question is why when I go to the B&O website I see on the SOUND/LOUDSPEAKERS tab a 4 speaker setup comprising a pair of 12/2 & 12/3 freestanding setup? admittedly not a huge point of concern but I wish that B&O would be less confusing about their future specs on products.

Your dealer is out of date - the 12 has new back plates and stands to allow stand mounting. Whether this is a good idea seems debatable as they are originally designed as wall mounted speakers. They do have the free, corner and wall selection switch though which will tailor the frequency response.

Thanks for that Peter
I cant wait to "advise" my out of date dealer of that situation everything happens a bit slower in norfolk !
